Jools is one of the nominees for the UK Festival Awards "Best Festival Feel-Good Act." The organizers of this vote, who include BBC 6 and Oxfam (and the official sponsor, who is some outfit called VirtualFestivals.com, say this "is designed to celebrate unique acts who added an extra twist to raise their festival performance above the usual standard." That could have been comedy, nostalgia, interaction, unpredictability or what the organizers call "that secret ingredient." The only other acts I've heard of who are nominated for this are The Proclaimers and Status Quo. Some of the other ones include The Cuban Brothers and the Ukelele Orchestra of Great Britain.

So, um, get cracking.
